With all of this said, Please listen to the staff. If they tell you to stop doing something, it is in your best interest to listen and stop. It is not possible to list every single offense imaginable in the rules. So it will make everyone's lives easier if you just listen. With that said, the argument "But it's not in the rules" is a bannable offense.
We work on a 3 strike system. You will be warned twice and then (depending on the severity of the offense) you will be either suspended or banned permanently from the board.
These rules are subject to change as the admin sees fit. An announcement will be made when such changes are made via the update threads as well a PM. It is you're responsibility to keep up with the changes.
- Please be courteous to your fellow Rpers. If you have a problem with another member, please contact a member of the staff and we will handle it. Flame wars and arguments will not be tolerated.
- Respect the staff members. We are here to help. So arguing with a staff member's decision will not be tolerated. If you believe the decision was unfair PM me, and I will handle the matter. Disrespect will not be tolerated.
- No spam. Anywhere. Spamming is a bannable offense.
- For images: All avatars are not to exceed 150x150 pixels. If it does, it will be removed and you will receive a warning. Any large signatures that stretch the page will be linked and you will be warned. Please no obscene images. DO NOT hotlink images. Please use photobucket or imageshack for hosting. Hotlinking is a bannable offense.
- Swearing and cursing is fine, but doing it just for the sake of doing it will not be tolerated. If swearing gets out of hand, it will be removed completely. If you use any kind of slurs or swear at any other members on a personal level, you will be banned.
- Please stay on topic. Any irrelevant posts will be considered spam and deleted.
- No double (triple) posting. If you wish to make a correction to your post please use the "edit" feature. Double posts will be deleted.
- Please use proper English and grammar. I will understand if English is not your first language. But sticky caps and chat speak are forbidden.
Basic RPG Rules
- If you are not a member of staff, please do not post in another member's profile.
- All RP posts are to be at least 300 characters in length. That is roughly three lines of text. However if there are a lot of pages with nothing but 300 character posts, it will cause the minimum to be upped by 200 characters.
- Your characters must be accepted before you begin rping. The OOC boards are open to you upon joining. But you must be accepted to rp.
- If your character is rejected, you have 72 hours from your next login session to make the necessary changes. Otherwise it will be moved to the profile archives and you will have to come up with another character.
- No all powerfuls. Please put limitations on your powers. Otherwise this could lead to rejection.
- Please stay In Character in the RP boards. If you must say something out of character, label as such. Do not have whole conversations in the RP boards. This is what the OOC board is for.
- Blatant character ripoffs will be immediately rejected.
- Please check the locked races/powers thread to make sure your character is legal.
- Do not harass the mods to respond to your profile. We will get to it as soon as we can. If this rule is broken, your profile will be
automatically rejected and you will have to do it again. - When opening new threads, please designate if it is a private or open RP.
Example: [Thread Title] (Closed to John Doe)

[Thread Title] (Open to all) - Please have one main account. You can then either have individual accounts for each character you create, or RP them from your main account (just make it clear who is in which thread).
- All explicit posts belong in the Private Rooms. Keep everything outside of the Private RP PG-13 or below. Everything R rated belongs in the Private RP board. NC-17 posts are not permitted as they violate Proboards Terms of Service. PM a mod for the password to the private board.
- We rp on a broken timeline, meaning one character may appear in more than one thread. However they may not appear in more than three (3) threads.
- No God-Modding. Control your character only. For slight cases of God-Modding, you need to get your partner's permission via the PM system and then label the post that the god-mod appears in stating you have gotten permission.
- To make sure you've read the rules, where it says Keyword, put your characters initials and their birthdate. For example: if your character's name is John Doe and he was born December 3rd, then your keyword would be JD 12/3. Understand?
