A simple, short base and premise for the story of Orendir, and the background. Possibly worth reading to get a (very vague) idea of things.

Create a thread for your character to create and keep track of their relationships. Friends, enemies, lovers. That sort of thing.

The Hospitality District is where inhabitants of Orendir and visitors will find a large selection of hotels which vary from small, cheap places, to the largest and most expensive hotel, the Grand Mariott.

Some of the larger hotels, the Marriott included are more like cities inside themselves containing onsight restaurants, casinos and methods of entertainment.

The Hospitality District is located in a picturesque part of the island, a stones throw from any beach. Visitors can walk to the town in a manner of minutes or can choose to take a Tuk-Tuk, taxi or the local bus which runs regularly.

Or, if patrons are feeling more adventurous, they can choose to go on one of the public footpaths around the Island to get a real feel for Orendir and its natural flora and fauna.

Sub-board: Grand Mariott

The residential district is possibly the largest part of Orendir's biggest city.

Most occupents live in apartment buildings, the highest of which reaches nineteen floor and then has two further floors for pent houses.

There are houses clustered together. Most homes are occupied by families that have recently moved to Orendir or older inhabitants who have lived on Orendir since before it became a Haven for "non-humans".

For this reason, the architecture doesn't have a specific style or time frame that can be placed.

The Shopping District of Orendir leaves nothing to be desired.

At the centre of everything is a huge shopping centre which consists of four floors. Here, shops range from toys shops, to perfume kiosks and dozens of clothing outlets. Located inside the shopping centre are a varity of coffee shops and places to eat, both fast food and food for a more refined palette.

Outside the shopping centre is a plaza, where a pop-up market occours every weekend where people come to sell their home grown produce and home made trinkets. It is also an opperunity for people to meet and mingle.

Further around the centre are larger shops, more independent places, run by locals and natives of Orendir. Much of the time, there are street performers and buskers to entertain passerby.

In this district there are also two local theatres, a small museum, detailling the history of Orendir, and the circumstances which caused its conception.

Orendir's Central Park is one of the central points of Kosaka's city. It is a large, oval shaped park that stretches over several miles in the city.

In the north end of the park is a lake, favoured by parents and children alike because of the multitude of wildlife that live in and around the lake. The lake can be walked around, or crossed over with the use of a large bridge. Pedelos can be rented for s hort period and taken out onto the lake also. In this area there is also a large playground for children.

The rest of the park is littered with trees, benches and some statues.

Sacred Angelus Hospital is located at the heart of Orendir and is the main medical facility on the Island.

The front lobby sits opposite reception. It is decorated in a rather minimalist fashion, but contains plush scarlet coloured seating, a large plasma screen and several bookshelves, filled to bursting.

Situated just beyond reception is the teacher's lounge where meetings often take place. This is restricted to faculty only, students may only enter if urgent or necessary.

The Living Quarters are divided into four dorms. The boys dorm, the girls dorm, the co-ed dorm and the Teachers dorm.

Each dorm houses three students and each dorm comes fully furnished with an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette area.

It is strictly forbidden for a student to visit a teachers dorm and vice-versa.

Ranging in size the classrooms take up most of the schools grounds.

On the first floor is where general knowledge is taught, such as English, Maths, History, Art and Science.

The second floor is where power control is taught. There are basic classrooms but there are also classrooms specially designed to suit students that fall into the category of having an 'elemental' power.

The detention hall can be found beneath the grounds of the school.

Hungry? Then you come here. There are many different choices ranging from American food to Asian and European food. Tables are located inside as well as outside for your enjoyment. Food may be taken back to your dorm if you do not wish to eat in the designated areas.

In Cafeteria is open from 6am to 9pm, but its doors are never locked.

Students are not allowed into the kitchens, unless accompanied by a teacher.

Located behind the main building, the courtyard is where students may hangout between and after classes. Wooden benches litter the area as well as a beautiful stone fountain.

Sometimes when the weather is good, classes will be held here.

The gym is where you come to train or let off steam.

Seperated into five areas, the first and most extensive is the track and field section While it is an indoor arena, there is enough room to stretch one's legs.

Down a corridor there is an indoor pool and sauna. There is also a drying room where students can leave damp swimming gear and towels, provided they pick them up later.

A floor above is the general exercise room, complete with rowing machines, tred mills, weights and step machines.
The next room houses the room used for general sparring and practice matches.

And the final room is the overall training room. Students are not to use this room unless accompanied by a prefect or teacher. Breaking of this rule will mean strict punishment.

Please note: the only weapons to be used during training are the wooden practice weapons avaliable, unless given express, written permission by a teacher.
